Is there an age requirement?
There is no minimum age requirement for participating.
When does registration open and close?
Online registration will open Friday, July 31, and will close Sunday, Sept.13, or before registration reaches full capacity.
Is there a fundraising minimum?
No, runners are not required to set up a personal fundraising page to participate in Cubs Charities’ Race to Wrigley 5K Charity Run, however, personal fundraising can make a significant impact in the lives of oncology patients.
Yes, parents and legal guardians can register their child(ren) for the race. However, you must complete registration online prior to registration close Sunday, Sept. 13, at 11:59 p.m. CDT or before registration reaches full capacity. You cannot register for a friend or a spouse.
How do I pick up my shirt & bib?
Runners will receive their race packet in the mail prior to race week.
Where do runners get their timing device?
Map out a 5K race on your own using a run tracking app or smart device. Please reach out to racetowrigley@enmotive.com with questions.
Only credit cards are accepted online.
Do runners have to participate in teams and race together?
No, team participants can race individually even if they fundraise as a team.
How can I find a runner's personal fundraising webpage?
Under the "Fundraise" tab, click on “Sponsor a Runner" from the drop-down arrow. This will take you to the event fundraising page where you can search for the person you are looking for in the right-hand column. After you reach the runner's fundraising page, you can make a donation!
What is a virtual race?
Runners who decide to run virtually can map out a 5K course of their own to complete the race. Runners can participate from any location of their choosing.
Do I have to complete my virtual race during race week?
No, runners can complete the race at any time before race week. If you are able to, we’d love for you to run during race week with the rest of our Cubs Charities community.
I finished my run. What do I do now?
You may upload your race results to EnMotive here. Use the photo features in EnMotive to capture your run and upload them to your social media pages using the hashtag #RacetoWrigley.
Do I have to run the 5K?
No, runners or walkers of all skill level are welcome!
Is there a post-race celebration?
No, due to the health and safety concerns of our runners, we encourage participants to celebrate virtually by engaging on social media pages using the hashtag #RacetoWrigley.
